Guten Tag! Today Reading High Students and their German partners went to Tubingen,Germany! Where they visited the D.A.I. ( German-American Institute) for an intercultural workshop. In the workshop, Reading High Students were able to express their opinions on what is important in life and as well the Germans did the same. We also did "intercultural speed dating ". This was probably the most fun part because we all had 1 minute to go around the room and tell different people a little about us. After the workshop, we took a boat ride down a river that was close to the D.A.I.  Wesley, Maria , Elizabeth, Brittany, and Jeffrey took charge and guided the boats themselves ! Then we all hit the city of Tubigen and saw the different stores and even ate at some of their delicious restaurants. Overall, a very great day and all students were satisfied that they were able to learn something new about the German culture and some Germans were even surprised what they learned from the Americans
