Reading High Students continue their German experience with their families. Each student sets off on their own personal journey and tour around different parts of the country. Places such as Stuttgart, Germany, where a huge Carnival is taking place. It is even more huge than Dorney Park! Also, Reading High Students have been just taking walks around Reutligen, itself, where there are many stores, bakeries, and even libraries. If there is one thing students love about Germany, besides the chocolate, is Germany's amazing views and open land. We have to travel by foot a long way to experience these views, but the journey is all worth it. Germany is one of the most beautiful and most peaceful places in the world and I can already say that all Reading High Students that are attending this year, are planning to come back sometime in the near future!

Live from Gio -

Reading High School students have been having an amazing time and experiencing new things, such as food and culture. Yesterday, we visited a German Museum, where we made our own posters and learned some of ways of art! German students are currently with their partners and going to castles and different parts of Germany. This upcoming Tuesday , students will rejoin and continue activities as a group. ...
Aside note - The museum the students visited was the Spendhaus which focuses primarily on print media. Students often have a tour and an art making workshop including the opportunity to use a wonderfully old hand press. (https://www.reutlingen.de/kunstmuseum)

Monday is a national holiday celebrating the reunification of Germany as a country. Most students will enjoy a long weekend with their families.
