Safe Arrivals

It is 17:31 German time on Wednesday.  Most of us have been awake for too long and will try to keep our eyes open for another couple of hours.  Personally I am not sure I can do it.

Our travels went off without a hitch.  No missed flights, no lost passports, no students left behind.  We enjoyed our 8 hours confined in a small space looking like a bunch of grapes.  Most of us were seated together with a few stray passengers sprinkled around us to keep everyone honest.

The students were well behaved and respectful on the plane with just the right amount of enthusiasm.  Tina was subjected to a tickle fest by security, Cole's ankle was swabbed for who knows what and Justyn drew the short straw for the flight, but we all survived.

After planes buses, buses planes, buses buses, we arrived safely in Reutlingen around 12 and in 10 minutes they had all disappeared. We ran into a few this afternoon in town.  I hope they have better luck in staying awake this evening than I am having.

Tomorrow morning we meet for a tour of the city and a group bowling excursion.

  1. Glad to hear you are all doing fine in Germany. Please tell Tina that I had a similar experience flying last summer.
